This session invites us to find ways to exercise integrity and authenticity.
The Real lyfe zone emphasizes the re-formation of our hearts so that we are able to respond appropriately to the challenges of life. Holiness is about living from a pure heart so that we can function well in a dysfunctional world. Jesus was response-able – he was able to respond appropriately to the situations he faced in life. It’s about becoming the person God wants me to be – someone who routinely and easily does the right thing, in the right way, at the right time. It is attentiveness to the source of our actions, to the condition and motives of the heart, and taking on new patterns of life that flow naturally from within.
‘Holiness is world-affirming. The holy life is found smack in the middle of everyday life.’

01 Tongue Tied
Each morning this week, ask the Holy Spirit to ‘set a guard over your mouth’ (Ps 141.3). Make a commitment to think about the words you use to respond to situations and circumstances. It could be a conflict at home, or a complicated situation at work. Ask the Spirit to guide you with the right words, delivered in the right way, at the right time.
